I have four years worth of newspaper articles for very succesful basketball and football seasons (much more newspaper articles than your average team…). I’m trying to put them in a scrapbook or memory book for Christmas, but I don’t want to ruin the articles or make them look messy. What’s the best way to go about doing this?
Also, obviously, the quickest & easiest way to get it done, and does anyone have any layout ideas for sports pictures, admissions tickets, rosters, field passes, articles, etc.?
Try CropMom (http://www.cropmom.com) to make your digital scrapbook layouts or greeting cards online of your newspaper articles. I would scan the articles and upload them to CropMom and then use the CropMom website to create scrapbook layouts. This way you can keep the originals as they were and at the same time have them in digital form. CropMom is easy to use! Just register and upload your photo or photos or scanned images. Then click Get Started to begin making your project.
You can choose from several canvas sizes. Drag and drop your photo onto the canvas. You can resize or rotate your photo. Then choose from CropMom’s scrapbooking graphics and drag and drop them onto your canvas.
You can click Add Text to add your own words to the layout.
When you’re finished, click Save. Then go to the My CropMom page and click on your layout. From there, you can download the low-resolution JPEG file of your layout for free for use on the Web or to e-mail to friends. You can click Share to send your layout via e-mail directly to a friend. If you want to print your layout, you may purchase the high-resolution, print-quality JPEG file for a small fee. Then you can print it at home or have it printed by a photofinisher.
There is a pig olympics in Moscow April 2006. I have interest to see a photo scrapbook playing fun with these pigs in the game.

Either a scrapbook or a photo album. I have all of these pictures of my cousins and i when we were little and decided to make it more creative than a boring ol’ photo album. Any advice?
Check out the stuff on http://www.storephotos.com/. It’s a great all-in-one website to get you started. You can decide what sort of scrapbook or photo album you want to use. And there’s even stuff for digital scrapbooking if you decide to do that instead!
Good luck.

I know how to assemble them and order the product. I am just not sure how to get business. Like, how do I set up a nice website, and how do I advertise it to get business? How do I show up at the top when someone types in scrapbook Page Kits.
You really should develop some form of a business plan to start.
E-commerce packages are widely available depending on needs and budget. First, you will need a domain name that is not already in use – try Network Solutions. From there, you will also need a web hosting company to host your website — I recommend 1and1.com since they have a wide variety of tools at your disposal that are user friendly to a beginner.
Also, if you plan to build the site yourself you will need basic knowledge of HTML/CSS. If you don’t plan to build it yourself then a pre-packaged site such as Volusion or Homestead will be helpful to you.
You have to build the foundation before you even begin to think about how to market it correctly. Your business plan should help you address this — as you will need to decide your target market and how best to reach them through various media.
Showing up at the ‘top of the page’ refers to SEO — Search Engine Optimization. There are two ways to approach this: organic and paid search. Organic Search is based on the content and relevance of your site as it pertains to search keywords. This is a fueled by search engine methodologies. On the second hand business pay for keywords or search terms. The budget you set for these terms will affect your page ranking for a specific search. When users click on your ad you pay based upon your top bid for that keyword.
I am looking to get some scrapbook things such as punches, stamps, paper, etc. I love to scrapbook but I am just starting it. I am looking for some place that sells paper in bug quantities, ex. 180 sheets in one pack. I also want some punches and things. Anyone know where to get these things at or any ideas?
There is the web site: www.scrapbookingtop50.com and it is full of scrapbooking sources.
Also, if you have a scrapbooking magazine around, look through it and you will see all sorts of supply resources listed in the back as well as all throughout the ads in it.
There is a catalog called Paper Wishes and they have a website that has the catalog available on line as well as a place to request one to come to you in the mail. But they have FREE web videos to watch on-line that are Awesome!!!! The web site is: www.paperwishes.com
Here are a few more supply resources:
www.orientaltrading.com (find their scrapbooking section)
www.keepsakepapercrafts.com
www.TimesTo Cherish.com
The above sites all offer catalogs that sell scrapbooking supplies. You can request a catalog on their sites, as well as view their pages of tips and examples of finished pages!
This should get you on your way…. HAVE FUN!

Would like to be able to go to a scrapbook shop and do some scrapbooking there, using their materials, is there anywhere in London that does this? Thanks!
Try Puffin Crafts on SE22 020 7639 7282. If you are willing to take a 25 min train ride from central London to Swanley, Kent, I can thoroughly recommend my local store, Sharons Card Crafts 01322 618511 (by car, just just 3 mins from the M25)
They are recipes I’ve cut from magazines, some with pictures and all are different sizes. I’m not very creative myself, so I want to buy a scrapbook so that I can glue these recipes in and keep them altogether.
This is what I do….I use a 3 ring binder and bought sheet protectors. If the clipping it too small I simply glue stick it to a piece of copy paper and slide it in. The page protectors help keep the recipes from getting cooking splatter on them and can be wiped off. I also bought dividers to keep the recipes organized by category. Just go to your office supply store like Office Depot.
Or just lots of scrapbook supplies online? I am trying to make a memory book for my high school graduation, and I would like to find a scrapbook (not an album) which has some sort of graduation theme on the cover, but if there is no soch thing, I would also be interested in a site with a lot of scrapbooks available.
